My
grandson, Will, wanted to make a Fairy Garden. So, on Wednesday, I put him into
my car along with his brother, Nolan, and we drove to LMS greenhouse to make a
Fairy Garden.
Jane,
who works at LMS, was ready to help Will. She gave him the basket with soil and
let him pick out everything that would go into the Fairy Garden. He chose three
plants, marbles, a bench, a rabbit, a glow in the dark dragon egg, and ghosts…yes,
ghosts and the more ghosts, the better! He also added stones, gravel, and
topped off the garden with sparkly fair dust.
Afterwards,
we walked outside and looked at some of the plants and perennials. Then we paid
for the Fairy Garden and drove home, with a stop at Kool Cones to celebrate our
adventure.
When Will’s
mother came to pick up the boys, it was hard to tell who was more excited about
the Fairy Garden…Will or his Mom. Let’s just say that it was a toss up!
