For Christmas, I gave
my grandson, Tyler, a kit on how to build a rocket. So…he now can build a
rocket by using a plastic bottle, tubing, and duct tape. The first few
attempts, the rocket went up into the air. Each time that he shot them off,
they went higher and higher. It was pretty cool, until it landed on the roof
but luckily he could climb out one of the windows to get it.
After the duct tape was
used and the plastic bottle looked deflated, he replaced it with painters tape
and a 2-litre bottle. So, he was able to shoot more rockets off.
Then along came his
birthday…and I found the rocket kit on sale and bought it for him. Now he has
more rockets that he can build. We were trying to figure out, how he can make a
rocket and shoot it from his mother’s house in South Fayette to my house, here
in Franklin Park.
Tyler’s pretty bright…so, I have no doubt that a rocket is going to appear at my front door, one of these days!
